Burst Mode on iPhone & iPad

Burst mode on iPhone and iPad is incredibly handy for capturing action shots or quick poses. Whether you're photographing a moving subject or trying to avoid blinking at just the wrong moment, Burst mode has you covered.

To use Burst mode, press and drag the shutter button (the white circle) to the left in the Camera app. The camera will take a rapid series of photos until you release the button. This feature works with both the front and rear cameras.

In the Photos app, you’ll find the burst labeled with the total number of photos taken. Tap the Burst button to review and select the best shots. With any luck, you’ll capture the perfect pose or freeze the action at just the right moment.
